The fourth and final meeting of the EU Grundtvig funded project will be held in the UK in June/July 2015.
Dates:
The meeting will take place between June 29-July 3, 2015. We expect that participants will arrive in the afternoon of June 29 (Monday), and the main programme (workshop discussions and local field visits) will take place over 3 full days between June 30-July 2 inclusively, and participants will depart in the morning of July 3 (Friday).
Venue: The venue of the meeting is Monkton Wyld Court, an education center for sustainable living located in Dorset, in the South-Western part of England (about 3h away from London by train).
Programme: The main themes of the programme will be cooperative/community processing facilities, access to land and small farm innovations (e.g. fossil fuel-free agriculture and forestry, horse drawn market gardening as well as incubation farms for new entrants). The majority of field visits will focus on these themes.
We would also like to offer space for follow-up discussions on a Manifesto calling for the democratisation of agricultural research in Europe as well as reflections on the themes of field visits.
